Salvia guaranitica 'Black and Bloom' - a clump-forming perennial, producing numerous spikes of vivid cobalt blue flowers that contrast with a black calyx. Flowering mid-summer to November. Height to 120cm, spread to 80cm. Half Hardy. Forms a tuberous root system so mulch like you would a dahlia in winter and choose a sheltered location.
Requires free-draining soil and full sun.
