• Join us for a FREE guided Food Forest Tour at Careys Secret Garden on Friday 18th October. Together we will explore the vibrant, sustainable world of permaculture. Wander through the fruit trees, edible plants, herbs, and flowers in our Food Forest, under the guidance of our knowledgable Gardeners who will share tips on choosing, growing, harvesting and maintaining a Food Forest. You will learn about the principles of creating a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem that you can replicate at home in your own garden. Whether you’re a gardening enthusiast, nature lover, or just curious about the idea of Food Forests, these free tours offer insights into growing your own food, plant diversity, and eco-sustainable practices for food security.

  Free to attend as part of general garden admission on Friday 18th, the tour will be running from 11am - 12pm. Please meet outside the coffee shop to join the tour. There will also be an opportunity to buy bare root and food forest plants. 

• Your ticket includes admission to the Berlin Wall Exhibit

• Directions to the Secret Garden will be sent to you on your Order Confirmation
• You can arrive anytime on the day of your booking so there is no rush to be here if you fancy a lie-in! The last entry is 3pm. There are no restrictions on how long you can stay at the garden during opening hours, although we anticipate visits to last 1-2 hours.
• The Secret Salt Pig coffee shop will be open during your visit with a range of light vegetarian refreshments, cakes, snacks, and delicious coffee! 
• Sorry, no dogs allowed on site except service/assistance dogs
