Careys Secret Garden
As our first two 'Fire Cider' workshops sold out in record time due to popular demand we have put on an additional course.
Never heard of ‘Fire Cider’?
Then here’s your chance to learn about this incredible, health-boosting herbal tonic from Careys Herbalist expert, Lorraine Love of The Purbeck Apothecary.
The workshop includes making your own fire cider (an apple cider vinegar-based herbal tonic) under the expert guidance of Lorraine. She will tell you about the history of fire cider including the epic legal battle to stop it from being trademarked in the USA and talk about its health-boosting benefits and the secret of the ingredients.
During this workshop, you will be able to select your own ingredients and be shown how to make your own medicinal vinegars to make your own signature Fire Cider to take home and steep until ready to use as a tasty immune-boosting tonic or a salad dressing.
What to bring:
Please bring your own apron. Gloves will be provided.
Please arrive promptly for the start time of the workshop and check in at The Secret Salt Pig on arrival. The garden will be open for attendees to wander around after the course.
The Secret Salt Pig coffee shop will be open during your course with a delicious range of refreshments, light lunches, cakes, ice cream, and the BEST coffee!
Attendees will be expected to join in with the session.
This workshop runs from 10:00pm-1:00pm
