Wilderness Bowls

Clay can be pressed into leaves to create a delicate bowl. You may wish to have gaps for the light to shine through, add handbuilt wildlife or insert ammonite shapes. By using a former to support the structures it gives the option to create a very delicate textured piece.

About your tutor

Deborah Clarke has worked with clay for over 25 years, completed a BA (hons): Ceramics at Bath in 1999 and went on to learn new skills helping at the International Potters Festival, Aberystwyth and exhibited at the New Designers exhibition in London. Deborah’s hand built ceramics are exhibited across the southwest.
