Come and join us for a celebration of human migration and diversity. Featuring thought-provoking art installations, workshops and films that challenge perspectives and spark dialogue.

Please note that all visitors will require a General Admission Ticket. Additional workshops, talks and presentations may incur an additional cost to participate, 100% of the profit from these tickets is paid directly to the workshop leader/host. Sorry, we can only welcome assistance/service dogs to Careys due to the sensitive wildlife on site.

COLD WAR STEVE

Cold War Steve aka Christopher Spencer is an artist from Birmingham, England who has been making surreal, satirical and hilarious photomontage since 2016. Careys Secret Garden is excited to welcome the Cold War Steve office for this in person conversation around art, activism and social commentary. Cold War Steve’s work will be displayed as part of the Bye Bye Bibby gallery opening on the 17th of January and displaying work by artists across the nation commenting on the brutality of the Bibby Stockholm and the politics that drove it into existence.

This group has formed on Portland to offer friendship and support to people seeking asylum.

We are releasing our General Admission tickets now as many people have asked about the event and would like to purchase tickets as Christmas gifts. The bookable workshops, talks and classes will be available in the New Year. General admission is limited, so we recommend booking and reserving your space. We look forward to welcoming you.
